Our Fire-Retardant Medium Density Fiberboard (FR MDF) is a high-performance engineered wood panel specially formulated to significantly reduce flammability, slow flame spread, and minimize smoke generation during fire exposure. Unlike standard MDF, FR MDF integrates advanced inorganic fire-retardant additives directly into the fiber matrix—ensuring permanent, non-leaching protection that meets stringent global fire safety regulations.

Virgin wood fibers (softwood/hardwood blend, FSC® optional)
Phenol-formaldehyde (PF) or modified urea-formaldehyde resin with enhanced thermal stability
Non-halogenated fire-retardant additives uniformly blended into the fiber stream
Specialized catalysts to ensure complete curing without compromising board integrity
